Happy Thursday Friends! I don’t know about you, but I’ve been favouring a much more pared-back makeup routine these days, opting for a more lightweight and natural look. I may have a million and one makeup products that I’ve loved playing around with and using, but time and time again, I stick with my trusty favourites and keep things as simple and as easy as possible. Don’t get me wrong, I still love going all out with a full-face of glam makeup when the occasion arises, but for the most part, I just stick with the basics. I don’t know if it’s the post-pandemic world we’re living in, the current makeup trend, or just that I can see 30 somewhere on the horizon, but simple and lightweight is where it’s at for me these days. So I thought it was time to give my trusty favourites a moment to shine and share my current makeup routine, where the focus is on keeping it simple. Hey, how you doin’? Did you read that in Joey’s voice? If not, then no soup for you! Yes, I know that’s a Seinfeld reference, but goddammit I do love me some 90s sitcoms, so just let me have it okay! Anyways, it’s about time we had another swatch party around here, this time in the form of the Friends x Revolution collection! I’m a massive Friends fan and will happily sit though episodes even if I’ve seen them a million times already. Hell, I’ll even quote along with the episode, which makes me a terrible person to actually watch the series with. Friends is 100% a personality trait at this point, but it’s also such a comfort watch for me. So when Makeup Revolution started collabing with Friends I was super excited and eager to get my hands on the products. But because there are quite a few products in this collection, let’s just start with three girl’s palettes. Happy March Everyone! How is 2022 treating you so far, natural disasters, global pandemic and war aside? I cannot believe we’re already in March! I know February is legitimately the shortest month of the year, but it felt like it absolutely flew by. I’ve had all these blog post and content ideas on my to-do list and I just don’t know where the time has gone to actually get stuck into it all. Nevertheless, let’s start rectifying the situation with a little swatch party! It’s been a hot minute since I’ve had a swatch party on the blog, so I’m kicking things off with the ETUDE Fixing Tint collection - let me tell you I’m OBSSESSED! I’ve always been a matte liquid lip gal, but lip tints may just be my new favourite lip product!
Happy Thursday Lovelies!
Let's have a bit of a swatch party because it's been a hot minute since I've made a makeup swatch blog post - 2 years to be precise, with some I Heart Revolution love. I've posted lots of swatches on my Instagram, but wanted to shine a spotlight on a recent favourite - ZOEVA Cosmetics! From the packaging to the eyeshadows themselves, this brand is stunning and after eyeing off some of their palettes for AGES, I'm so glad to have a couple in my collection. Happy Tuesday! I hope you all had a fabulous International Women's Day yesterday and took the time to honour the amazing women in your life! To all the women out there – keep being amazing, inspiring and kicking butt! Today I thought I’d unzip my makeup bag and give you all a peek at what my current essentials are and what must-haves I always have on hand! While there is way more to my makeup collection than these products, these are the ones I am reaching for the most right now. Happy Tuesday Lovelies! Summer is really making its presence known this week with three days of 40oC+ weather to contend with. It could be worse, but considering we’ve had a relatively cool Summer so far, it’s a bit of a hit! Anyway, weather aside, today we’re diving into a beauty review! Over the past six weeks I’ve been fortunate enough to have been working with Aussie beauty brand Raww Cosmetics as part of a Social Soup campaign. It’s been SO much fun getting to try a brand that I’ve only seen a little bit across my socials prior to now. So if you’re looking for a natural, cruelty free and vegan skincare and makeup brand, Raww could be the one for you! This post contains ad-gifted products. I was under no obligation to write a blog post.
All opinions are my own and 100% honest. Why hello there! I was traveling recently and had to pack light, which meant I had to put a lot of thought as to what makeup products I needed - what were must-haves and which were the most versatile. So today I wanted to share with you all my makeup essentials - the products that I use all the time and that I can totally just use on their own for a simple and basic bit of makeup. They're all my travel must-haves and products you definitely need to check out if you haven't already! Hey There Everyone! Another month, another Bellabox! It's been a while since I've actually done one of these review posts, but since I've played around with everything in this box already, I thought why not! March's box - Runway Ready - was my first box for 2019 after pausing my subscription for the first two months of the year to catch up on products from previous boxes (spoiler alert, I totally didn't). And it was a pretty decent box filled with a nice mix of goodies, mainly from brands I've never heard of or tried before. Hey There Everyone! I resubscribed to Bellabox in September, and I'm so glad that I did! I'd forgotten how great it is to get a box filled with different products and brands to try, and Bellabox certainly delivered the goods in September. I've finally had a chance to try all five products in the box, and spoiler alert, they are all really great products. And without further ado, here's my thoughts on everything in the 'Spring Shake Up' box from September. |
