Hey Everyone! I'm sure you've all head of the Netflix drama The Crown, which is chronicling Queen Elizabeth II's 60 year reign over 6 seasons. The second season dropped on Netflix back in December and over the holiday period I finally got a chance to binge watch both seasons, which was a terrible idea because now I have to wait for what feels like forever for season three. But, I fell in love with show instantly and I thought I'd continue my series of '7 reasons why you should be watching [TV show]'. But, as you may have noticed, it's not seven reasons I'm giving you, it's five. That's because you only need five reasons to watch this amazing drama - read on and find out why you need to watch this show if you've been living under a rock and haven't already! Happy Friday! Today is Australia Day here in Australia, marking exactly 230 years since British settlement. This morning, I attended our Shire's Australia Day breakfast and Awards, and I was also one of the guest speakers. Last year, I was named the 2017 Young Citizen of the Year for my local Shire, and so was invited back this year, along with the Citizen of the Year, to give a 5-10 minute speech on Australia Day and a bit about myself. Writing the speech turned out to be a lot of fun and I was excited, although nervous, to speak and share my thoughts and opinions. Hello Everyone!
As it's Australia Day on Friday, I thought I'd share with you seven of my favourite Australian films that you should check out this weekend. While our film industry is small, we've certainly produced some amazing films that not only showcase our talented actor and actresses, but also show off our beautiful country. From comedies and musicals to dramas and mysteries, Australia has covered most of the film genres, producing some pretty great viewing material. Okay, so we aren't as brilliant as Hollywood, but we've put our own mark on the film industry with the films we've put out in the world. There's so many amazing Australian films, many of which I'm still yet to see and I'm sure are just as great as the ones I talk about below. So, if you're favourite film isn't on this list, chances are I haven't seen it, or it only just missed the cut! Director: Giamaria Pezzato Producer: Stefano Prestia Starring: Stefano Rossi (Tom Marvolo Riddle), Maddalena Orcali (Grisha McLaggen), Alessio Dalla Costa (General Makarov), Andrea Bonfanti (Lazrus Smith), Gelsomina Bassett (Hepzibath Smith) Released: 13 January 2018 Production Company: Tryangle Films Length: 53 Minutes
Hey Everyone!
Just a quick little post to say you should follow this blog over on Bloglovin'! This year, I really want to get into using Bloglovin' more, so if you have a blog that I can follow over there, let me know! Also, if you're a Bloglovin' pro, I'd really love to know how to make the most out of it, so please help a fellow blogger out. See You Soon! Victoria :) Hey Everyone! Thought I'd get back to doing favourites blog posts, since it feels like forever since I've done one. There were definitely some items that I loved during December, a few of which that I may have become a little too obsessed with. If you follow me on social media, you may know what some of these obsessions are, and I'm sorry if I got a little repetitive there for a while (but, I'm not sorry because I'm still very much obsessed). So, without further ado, here's what I've been loving recently! |
