Happy Sunday Friends!
Now that Thanksgiving is out of the way for all my American friends, we can OFFICIALLY start the Christmas celebrations! Of course, as an Australian, I don’t celebrate Thanksgiving, so I’ve been in Christmas mode since the beginning of November. Some people would say that’s too early to be watching Christmas films, putting up decorations and listening to Christmas Carols, but to them I say – it’s never too early for Christmas magic! Speaking of listening to Christmas Carols, I’ve been curating my 2021 Christmas Playlist, and I think this is my favourite one yet! Happy Sunday Friends! Last week I shared TWENTY FOUR Advent Calendars that you most certainly need to be checking out and grabbing for yourself, so this week we’re diving into what you could be buying for other people. Once I started working on this gift guide about six weeks ago, I kind of just fell down the rabbit hole and it definitely got a little out of hand. That’s why it’s a MEGA gift guide, because I totally went overboard and probably could have made this list ten times longer if I didn’t muster up some sort self control. So if you still have no idea what to buy for friends and family, or if you’re just looking for some extra stocking stuffer gifts, hopefully this guide will help you get on top of your Christmas shopping so you can sit back and relax with a wine and a Christmas film. I’ve said it before, but I’ll say it again – Christmas is one of my FAVOURITE times of the year. I just love the magic and atmosphere surrounding Christmas and all the fun things that happen around this time of year. From blasting the Christmas Carols and watching ALL the Christmas films, to going Christmas shopping and decorating the house, I just freaking love it all! Happy Week Before Christmas! December really flew by, huh? We are quickly running out of days to finish all the Christmas preparations, and I really hope baking gingerbread is somewhere on your list. Because if it's not, you better add it pronto! Christmas just isn't Christmas without gingerbread, but if you aren't the biggest gingerbread fan, I've got a solution for you - Chocolate Gingerbread! So bust out the bowls and measuring cups, stock up on lollies to decorate and get the kids in the kitchen to make this staple Christmas snack! Happy Holidays Everyone! Can you believe how close Christmas is?! I hope your Christmas shopping is going well and that you've nearly bought all your presents. I think I've got all my presents done and dusted - all that's left to do it wrap them and then relax! If you've been around for a while now, you will know that every year I do the same Christmas tag, so this year I decided to put together a whole new tag - The Most Wonderful Time Of The Year Tag - to share all the Christmas-y goodness over the course of 25 questions. Season's Greetings Everyone! Christmas is very nearly here! It's scary how few days we have left until the big day and just how much we have to cram in before then! But just because there's lots to do, doesn't mean we can't take some time to just chill out and watch something Christmas-y. Earlier in the month, I recommended 24 Christmas Films to watch, but if you're looking for something a little shorter to watch, here's some Christmas episodes to check out this month. And don't worry if you've not seen these series in general - the Christmas episodes offer a great snapshot of the series without being overly spoilerly in terms of the bigger picture! Season's Greetings Everyone! It's not the festive season until you start blasting the Christmas Carols. If you've been following me since I started this blog, you will know that every December I've put together a pretty good playlist, if I do say so myself, that really puts me in the Christmas mood. And 2020 is no different! And once again, I think I've put together a pretty good playlist that I'm sharing with you all! So if you're looking for some new songs to add into your Christmas rotation, or haven't started playing Christmas Carols yet, I'm here to help. HAPPY DECEMBER EVERYONE! It's OFFICIALLY the silly season, and it's not truly the holidays until you start watching holiday films! There are SO many Christmas films out there that it can be difficult to choose what to watch - do you rewatch a favourite or dive into something new? Over the past two years I've shared film recommendations, and this year I'm back once again to share TWENTY FOUR films you should watch this month - that's one for every night leading up to the big day! So grab to popcorn and get watching! Season's Greetings Everyone! The silly season is nearly officially upon us, which means your time is running our to get your 2020 Advent Calendar! You're never too old for an Advent Calendar, so don't pay attention to the haters who don't see the joy in being an adult and still using an advent calendar to count down to Christmas. Whether you want to keep it simple with a traditional chocolate calendar or want to try something a little different, I've rounded up a list of 12 calendars that have caught my eye and that you should definitely consider getting this year! |
