Happy Saturday! And just like that, December is upon us, Christmas is right around the corner, and if you're in the Southern Hemisphere, Summer is making itself known (today's high is 43*C). The second half of this year has gone crazy fast and that's kind of scary. So before we freak out about how close Christmas and the end of the year is, let me wrap up what I've been loving over the past three months. There's not too many favourites here, and it's definitely a really random mix of things, but they're what I've been loving nonetheless, so let's do this! I finally jumped on the Stardew Valley train and am LOVING IT! I don't now why I held off playing it for so long - it's everything I love in a game! One of the reasons why I love it is the similarities to my all-time fave Harvest Moon. I've spent way too long playing this game over the past three months, looking at other people's farm layout and just generally dreaming about playing the game. If you've still not jumped on the bandwagon, get on it ASAP! Early on in Spring I was devouring stand-up specials! In particular, that of Jack Whitehall, Michael McIntryre and Sarah Millican. I just love British comedians, and after a recent Big Fat Quiz of the Year binge, I just had to keep the laughs going with some stand-up shows. If you're into stand-up but haven't seen any or all of these shows, you NEED to! Also, let me know some of your favourite stand-up shows so I can spend the Christmas/New Year break watching them! I'm one of those people that's terrible with having a good breakfast - usually it's a coffee and that's it! But, there are times when I crave some cereal, and I recently stumbled upon a delicious one - Community Co. Crunchy Oat Clusters Tree of Nuts. Community Co. is a brand that I've tried several things from already, so I had pretty high hopes that this would be perfect for me. I'm a big fan of crunchy and nutty cereal, with a side of oats, and this really ticks all the boxes. It's super filling too, which means a small amount really goes a long way. And because I also eat cereal as an afternoon or midnight snack, it's also perfect for those times as well! If you see this in your local supermarket, definitely pick up a box. I'm a fan of tea and have amassed quiet a collection of flavours. But, that didn't stop my mum from gifting me a delicious T2 Tea gift pack for my birthday along with this stunning teapot for one! I'm a teabag girl, so it was really fun to actually use loose-leaf tea, and I've been drinking way more tea because of the gorgeous teapot. My favourites from the Five Faves gift pack are definitely Melbourne Breakfast and Green Rose. Now I'm eyeing up more flavours to try out! Not specifically music, but I've been getting into podcasts more lately, and actually tuning in when new episodes drop (or going back and bingeing a heap of already released episode). My top three podcasts at the moment are Unexplained Mysteries, The Secret's Out, and Today in True Crime. And most of the other podcasts I've been listening to has been true crime related. I'm just a sucker of a bit of mystery and hilarious comedy. As I said, a bit of a random small collection of favourites, but I couldn't not talk about them. In such a strange year, it's great to still have things that bring us joy and keep things relatively normal.
