Hey Guys! So I got my first Bellabox this month! I posted an unboxing video on my channel, and I was really happy with the items I received and very excited to try them all out. I decided to make a little post about my thoughts on all the products now that I've used them, and let you guys know which ones I'll be getting again, and which ones I won't be. Zuii Certified Organic Vegan Flora Mascara Description: Create luxurious, smudge-proof lashes with a formula that won't weigh on your conscience. This certified organic, vegan formula doesn't compromise on quality and is a great stable that will add volume and length. Thoughts: I usually try and buy a new type of mascara every time I need a new one, but I haven't yet found one that I'll keep buying forever. Organic and vegan beauty products are not something that I'm usually on the look-out for - it doesn't really sway whether I'm going to buy a product or not. But it is nice to know that this product is organic and vegan. It's a really nice mascara, didn't clump, and definitely add some volume and length to my lashes, which is always nice to see. It was also easy to remove at the end of the day, which is something I sometimes struggle with. Buying More?: As I said, I usually like to try different types and brands of mascara when I can, so while I probably won't buy more of this, it's definitely a brand and product that I'll keep my eye on and possibly try some of their other products. However, if you are someone who is looking for an organic and/or vegan mascara, this is a product you should check out! Blaq Face Mask Description: There's a reason these peel masks have gone viral online! The activated charcoal in this mask works to draw dirt to the surface of the skin, providing instant effective and visible removal of blackheads and impurities. Thoughts: Every time I've seen people using this mask on social media, I've wanted to get it, so finding this in the box was super exciting. I love face masks and I especially love charcoal products (most of my scrubs & cleansers are charcoal). After using this just once my skin felt so clean and smooth and I could definitely see an improvement on some parts of my face. It was super easy to peel off and not painful like a lot of the viral videos seem to portray. Buying More?: Most definitely! Having finally tried it after seeing everyone loving it, I'm definitely getting more and incorporating it into my beauty routine at least once a week. The hype surrounding this product is well-deserved! John Frieda Frizz Ease Secret Weapon Finishing Creme Description: For all the boss ladies with places to be and no time to waste, this handbag hero promised to eliminate frizz on-the-go when you need a touch-up most. Nothing can stop you when nourishing avocado oil is on your side, working to leave your hair soft and shiny, no matter the style. Thoughts: One of the reasons why I've usually always worn by hair up in a pony tail or bun, is because it's really easy for my hair to go frizzy and a bit knotty. It's only since I first dyed my hair back in September that I've enjoyed wearing it down more. I was really interested in trying this as I have just purchased the frizz tamer spray from Batiste, which I'm really enjoying. So having a cream product intrigued me. While it did help ease the frizz and make my hair nice and smooth (plus smell really nice), I'm not that big of a fan when it comes to having a cream product in my hair. Buying More?: I don't know. I'm going to keep playing around with this one. I like it, but I think I need to use it more, and with different hairstyles, to see if it's a product I want to buy more of. I definitely think it could be a product that I want to get again. The Australian Natural Soap Company Soap Bundle Description: This handmade soap company knows that Australia is blessed with some of the world's best natural oils. The ANSC utilise these oils in their unique soap making process to bring you these incredible ingredients in a sample pack of four solid soaps. Thoughts: I love trying different soaps, but when it comes to taking a shower, I'm more of a shower gel girl, and I use liquid soap for washing hands. But I was excited to try these soaps out, especially as they are natural soaps made from Australian products. The soaps I received were Australian Pink Clay, Australian Black Clay, Calamine, and Bondi Breeze. They were all so beautiful to use and left my skin feeling nice and soft. I feel like they are smelt the same, and although I like using nice scented soaps, they had a nice fragrance to them. Buying More?: Literally after having used one of the soaps for the first time, I jumped on the ANSC website to see how much the soap was and what other types they had. I've already picked out a few that I'm going to purchase soon, and I'm also really intrigued to try out the pet shampoo soap they have. So definitely a brand that I'm excited to try more from! Bioderma Sensibio H2O Description: A staple item in the skincare routines of many beauty experts, this micellar solution is a gentle and fragrance-free formula that removes make-up without affecting your skin's natural balance. You'll quickly see why 1 bottle is sold every 2 seconds in the world! Thoughts: I'm a massive fan of micellar water as a make-up remover - I've got a few bottles of the Garnier ones. But naturally, I was intrigued to see how this one measured up to what I already know and love. Honestly, it seemed to be exactly the same as the Garnier one (although really, how different can they make micellar water anyway?). Buying More?: Probably not, mainly because I already really enjoy using the Garnier micellar water. But, if I ever feel like switching things up, I'll definitely come back to this one. OVERALL, I'm really happy with everything in this box! I've picked up a few brands and products that I'm excited to use more of. And although there are some products I won't be getting again, it's not because they were bad - just products that I have alternatives to that I'm already happy using.
I definitely recommend checking out Bellabox if you're looking to try some new beauty products. I can't wait to see what is in my August box, and I'm probably going to stay subscribed for a few months, at least. See You Soon! Victoria :) |
