AUTHOR: Jana Aston GENRE: NA Romance PAGES: 78 RELEASED: 14 November 2019 SERIES: Reindeer Falls #2 SYNOPSIS: Dear Santa, Please stop by my house and pick up your suit. If you thought I was going to run it to the dry cleaners for you after you left it on my bedroom floor, you’ve got another thing coming. Best, Noel Winter A Santa Claus and a case of mistaken identity...
Noel Winter did not sign up to work the Reindeer Falls Santa Claus photos. Her domain is organising social events for the senior citizens, not kids, but when her colleague Jillian double-books her weekend, Noel steps up to help her out. Jillian has struggled to find a Santa Claus, resulting in the job landed to her brother, Teddy, who’s currently unemployed, living on his parent’s couch, and is a massive flirt. When Teddy finally arrives, he’s nothing like Noel imagined, and the pair eventually end up going for drinks after the photoshoot, with the night ending at Noel’s house. Coming from a family obsessed with Christmas, it was only a matter of time before she hooked up with Santa... I know these are novellas, but I really felt like I got through this instalment SO quickly! Again, this was a really fun and festive novella, and this one had a generous serving of spice. Never thought I’d swoon over Santa Claus, but here we are... I’ve already said it twice for the previous two books, but I do wish these books were longer – we got such a great taste for life in Reindeer Falls and I just wanted to spend more time with the Winter sisters! They seem like such a fun family and it would have been so cool to see more of their family dynamic. I really loved that Jana included an epilogue that not only wrapped up Noel’s story, but also gave us some more closure to Holly and Ginger’s stories as well. Romance fans, let’s get those reading goals smashed with a short but festive read to round-out the year! |
