Happy hump day fam! We are nearly two weeks into the new year and I don’t know how I feel about that… But I have at least made sure the year starts off on the right foot by doing a spot of baking! Well, not really baking, since this is a no-bake recipe, but you get the point. I’ve been absolutely obsessed with this slice, and it’s taken a LOT of self-control to not eat the whole batch in one sitting. This No-Bake Honeycomb Slice is super easy to make, meaning anyone of any skill level can whip up this delectable treat, and it’s even one the kids could get involved with! And if you’re anything like me, you will probably have most of the ingredients already in the pantry, with just one or two that you’ll need to duck to the shops to get. So if you’re looking for something new to (not)bake and impress your friends and family with, look no further than this must-make slice! Happy Wednesday Friends! Spring means it’s agricultural show season, which usually results in me going on a massive baking binge to bake entries for the cooking section at my two local show. There’s flour going everywhere, the oven’s getting a workout, and it feels like you’re cracking a million and one eggs. One of the things I baked this year were these Double Chocolate Cookies that I hadn’t made in forever, so totally forgot how delish they are! I’ve made a few batches over the past two months and I cannot get enough, so I thought why not share them with you all! If you’re a chocoholic like me, these biscuits need to be in your repertoire - they’re easy to bake, totally delish, and a must-have for the cookie jar! Happy Sunday Friends! Did you know that January 22 is Blondie Day? Because it is! I don’t know about you, but I’ve got a pretty substantial sweet tooth, so when I made some white chocolate brownies recently, I thought I better share them with you guys too! Brownies are delish, but if I can white chocolate-ify something, I’m going to do it! Now, blondies and white chocolate brownies aren’t really the same thing, but they’re pretty damn close and both taste delicious, hence why I’m sharing a brownie recipe on blondie day. So preheat your oven, get out the mixing bowl, and let’s get cooking! Happy Hump Day Fam! Can you believe Christmas is only NEXT WEEKEND – in 11 days to be exact! It might be coming at us like a freight train, but there is still plenty of time to cram in all those last-minute things, like stocking up on ALL the snacks! This year, one of the snacks I’m cooking up is Nuts & Bolts, a delicious and moreish snack to have on the table, taking to a Christmas party, or gifting in a jar. It’s a pretty quick and easy snack to whip up, so if you’re looking for a little something different on your nibbles table this year, and don’t have a lot of time left to make something, this could be the thing you’re looking for! Happy Pancake Tuesday! Shrove Tuesday is probably one of the best days of the year – it’s a day when no one is going to judge you for devouring ALL the pancakes. Okay, so maybe some people will judge you if you only eat pancakes today, but screw them, it’s pancake day and that means we can eat pancakes goddammit! So in honour of Pancake Day, I wanted to share with you a delish recipe for DOUBLE CHOC pancakes! Because why have boring, plain pancakes when you can really indulge today with these scrumptious pancakes! Happy Week Before Christmas! December really flew by, huh? We are quickly running out of days to finish all the Christmas preparations, and I really hope baking gingerbread is somewhere on your list. Because if it's not, you better add it pronto! Christmas just isn't Christmas without gingerbread, but if you aren't the biggest gingerbread fan, I've got a solution for you - Chocolate Gingerbread! So bust out the bowls and measuring cups, stock up on lollies to decorate and get the kids in the kitchen to make this staple Christmas snack! Hiya everyone! Hope isolation is treating you well and that, with restrictions lifting in many places, you're still being safe and continuing to social distance where you can. Over the weekend it was Mother's Day, and so to help bring a little fun to the day, I decided to bake my mum a layered Funfetti Cake! And what's more, I thought it was about time I shared another cooking post, so get your bowls and measuring spoons out and get ready to bake this super delicious and pretty easy cake!
Happy Holidays Everyone!
Christmas just doesn't feel like Christmas until there's a plate full of Gingerbread on the table, all decorated and looking oh so yummy. I don't know about you, but Christmas and New Years is the only time of year that I have gingerbread biscuits, so there's something special about making them in the lead up to Christmas. So why not spend this weekend filling the house with the festive smell of gingerbread and get baking! Plus, it's the perfect Christmas bake for kids to get involved with. |
