Happy Monday! How the flippin’ hell are we at the end of Autumn already? I’ve just come back from a week in Sydney and on the Central Coast, hanging out with my friends (for the first time in AGES) and seeing Hamilton (which was AH-MAZ-ING), so now it’s back to reality and colder weather (how was I at the beach last week and now I’m freezing my butt off?). Because it’s the end of another season, it’s time for another round-up of my Autumn playlist before I dive in and start creating my Winter playlist – there’s some good tunes here, so strap yourselves in for the songs that made up my Autumn! Happy Sunday! And just like that, we're at the end of another month AND another season! I do have to be honest - I totally forgot that today was the last day of Summer! We've had such a lovely Summer here, and even though you can just feel Autumn starting to creep in, I feel like Summer could go on for a lot longer. Really, I'm just bummed we're coming up to the clocks going back because I LOVE daylight savings! Anyway, enough rambling about wanting to hold onto Summer for as long as possible, it's time to once again share my seasonal playlist, the first for 2021! I think this is by far my favourite playlist (and longest) and I know there'll be a few songs copying over to my Autumn playlist... HAPPY NEW YEAR! I hope you didn't party too hard over the weekend (and if you did, it was safely!). Even though we're still dealing with the cards 2020 dealt us, let's hope that this year is going to be a marked improvement on the year gone. And to help you get through this year, it's time to feed your true crime obsession (or kickstart that obsession). Over the past through months I've been devouring a bunch of different true crime podcasts so thought I'd share some of my favourites and the ones you should be subscribing to this year! Happy Saturday! So apparently December is literally right around the corner? And for me here in Australia, Summer is literally on our doorstep! I'm keen for Christmas, the Summer and finally seeing the back of 2020! But before we can get to all that, I've gotta wrap up Spring first! Once again, I'm back to share the sounds that have defined my Spring so that I can start working on the sounds of Summer. This playlist is seriously all over the place but is definitely one of my favourite seasonal playlists! Happy Spring Everyone! Or, for my Northern Hemisphere friends, happy autumn! Now that we've reached a new season (I swear this year is just flying by), it's time to share my Winter Playlist and start creating my Spring Playlist! I have to say, I've really enjoyed the songs I've been listening to these past three months, and this is definitely one of my favourite seasonal playlists - I think I say that every time, but they really do just keep getting better and better! Happy Isolation Everyone! Like most people on social media, I've been doing a 30-day song challenge, specifically Zoella's 30-Day Playlist Collaboration, although I wasn't actually collaborating with anyone. I've really enjoyed the prompts and have been loving finding songs each day, some of which I've not listened to for ages. Since I've just posted my final song today, I thought I'd share my completed playlist here and give a brief explanation as to why I've chosen each song. And let me tell you now, I bloody love this playlist! Hiya Everyone! Every season, I create a playlist of songs that I'm obsessed with the most or had an impact during those three months. It's not necessarily the songs that came out during that time, but just the ones that I can't seem to get out of my head or that I have on repeat. I wanted to start sharing these playlists at the end of every season, just in case anyone was at all interested. Plus, it's just a good way to record these moments in time. Hey Everyone! Last April, I made a post talking about some of the songs on my Nostalgia playlist. As I said then, I have over over 170 songs - over 250 now actually - and was only able to able to focus on twelve songs during that post. So of course, I couldn't resist coming back to the topic and sharing ten more of my favourites and the stories and memories connected to them! Happy Holidays Everyone! It's FINALLY December, which means it's now actually acceptable to put up the decorations, blast the Christmas carols and binge as many Christmas films as possible. To kick-start the festive season, I thought I'd share with you my 2018 Christmas playlist. I have to admit, I've been feeling since the middle of November (I'm sitting here writing this on November 19), aided on by rewatching old Vlogmas videos, particularly Zoella's. With Christmas Carols buzzing around my head, I just had to create a playlist. As always, I'm super excited for Christmas, so this playlist is only making me more excited for the big day. Honestly, this time of year is my favourite, so I'm loving the Christmas atmosphere. |
