But hurt feelings soon follow, and Dee struggles to play on a team with Sara whom she likes but can’t be with. Dee’s parents force her to make a choice, one that requires her to ask for help from the one person she doesn’t want to face. Can she reach out to Sara? But one major PR misstep later, and Matthew is cut off and shipped away to spend the holidays in his grandparents’ charming small town hellscape. Population: who cares? It’s bad enough he’s stuck in some festive winter wonderland—it’s even worse that he has to share space with Hector Martinez, an obnoxiously attractive local who’s unimpressed with anything and everything Matthew does. Just when it looks like the holiday season is bringing nothing but heated squabbles, the charity gala loses its coordinator and Matthew steps in as a saintly act to get home early on good behavior…with Hector as his maddening plus-one. But even a Grinch can’t resist the unexpected joy of found family, and in the end, the forced proximity and infectious holiday cheer might be enough to make a lonely Prince’s heart grow three sizes this year. When Pru Everwood asks her to be the designer for the Everwood Inn’s renovation that will be broadcasted on a popular home improvement show, Innside America, Astrid knows this is the answer to everything that is wrong with her life. Jordan is determined to preserve the history of her family’s inn, particularly as the rest of her life is in shambles. When that determination turns into a little light sabotage, ruffling Astrid’s perfect little feathers, the showrunners ask them to play up the tension. Is she going to pursue the life that she’s expected to lead, or the one she wants? ![]() Happy December Eve! Can you believe December is literally tomorrow?! 2022 has really flown by, and while it’s scary knowing that 2023 is only 31 days away, I am so excited for all the Christmas festivities before the year comes to a close! There are SO many festive activities to cram into the next 25 days, and one of those activities is bingeing some Christmas episodes and specials. There’s baking to be done, film and TV series to watch, books to be read and carols to be sung, so it’s hard to know where to start! So let’s start the festive season off with some Christmas episodes and specials that definitely need to be on your watch-list this month. I’ve shared a few lists over the years, and this one is a pretty nice mix of childhood nostalgia, classic sitcoms, Australian drama, and recent comedy gold, so there is definitely something for everyone. ![]() Happy Sunday Everyone! Spring is coming to an end here in Australia, although you wouldn’t really know Spring has even been – Winter has had a death grip on this season, and then Summer has latched on for a couple of days, so it feels like we’ve completely missed having Spring for three months. But even with wacky weather (thanks El Nina), there’s still been plenty of music-listening happening over this past season! As I say every single time, I think this is one of my favourite seasonal playlists, and I know a LOT of these songs are going to continue over into the Summer – I still cannot get enough to The Chainsmokers’ newest album, and Louis Tomlinson has dropped an absolutely banger of an album! So before we dive into a new month and new season, here’s a recap of the music that has defined my Spring 2022! ![]() Happy Hump Day Book Lovers! What better way to celebrate the silly season than by curling up by the fire (or under the air conditioner if you’re in the Southern Hemisphere like me) with some yummy snacks, a good drink, and a festive romance book!
